What is the shelf life of the seed oil and what are the storage requirements?
The shelf life of Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil is 18–24 months from production date, assuming proper storage. Because it is a polyunsaturated oil, it is sensitive to oxidation.

Oxidation Management
- Keep drum sealed; use nitrogen blanket for long storage
- Avoid repeated heating/cooling cycles
- Peroxide value (PV) should stay ≤10 meq/kg at shipment
- Once opened, use within 3–6 months (refrigerated)
