Who is responsible for product recall if the 60% grade has a safety issue?

In the event of a product safety or compliance issue, recall responsibility is defined by our FSSC 22000 / ISO 22000 recall procedure and the signed commercial contract. The 60% grade is covered by the same recall protocol.

Responsibility Framework

  • Seller: If defect originates at our facility (spec, contamination, process), we manage and bear costs
  • Buyer: If issue from improper storage/handling/repackaging, buyer manages
  • Shared: We cooperate fully, provide traceability within 2 hours

We maintain complete batch-level traceability — identify and isolate any affected lot within hours. We strongly recommend a Quality Agreement specifying recall responsibilities before large orders.
